Antoinette G. Alvarado, is the Co-Pastor of Total Grace Christian Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She serves alongside her husband, Johnathan E. Alvarado as a pastoral complimentary component. Along with pastoring, she also serves Beulah Heights University in Atlanta, Georgia as an adjunct professor in Biblical Studies & Leadership. This dynamic speaker, teacher, and expositor of the word of God is also an author and worship leader.
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Pastor Toni accepted Jesus Christ at an early age, displaying a genuine love for both God and music in her youth. In 1989, she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. From 1989 to 1993 she served as Worship Leader at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorate of Bishop Eddie L. Long. She received her license to the ministry in 1993 at Total Grace Christian Center. She was ordained an Elder in January 1997 and currently serves as Elder of Worship & Arts, Pastoral Care Ministries, and Christian Formation & Discipleship at Total Grace Christian Center. In August of 2000, she was set in as Co-Pastor by Apostle Johnathan Alvarado, Bishop Alfred and Co-Pastor Susie Owens of Greater Mt. Calvary in Washington, D.C. She received both her Associate of Arts (1996) and Bachelor of Arts (1998) degrees in Biblical Education at Beulah Heights University, formerly Beulah Heights Bible College, in Atlanta, Georgia. Upon completion of the requirements, she received her Master of Divinity Degree with an emphasis in Christian Formation and Discipleship from the Church of God Theological Seminary in Cleveland, TN.
Pastor Toni Alvarado has just released her first book, entitled “Run and Not Be Weary”- The Pursuit of Purpose and Destiny published by Grace House Ministries. Her long-term plans are to pursue the Doctor of Ministry and Th.M. degrees as well as the establishment of an educational foundation for women.
Pastor Toni and Apostle Johnathan are the proud parents of three children, Johnathan Elliott II, Joshua Elisha, and Ariel Antoinette. Together they enjoy the benefits of a Godly family.
