Overview
The
Leadership Studies Department at BHU equips Christian men and women
with transferable leadership skills and empowers them for global
leadership as well as community economic development initiatives in the
ministry and market place sectors. Training includes Biblical,
ethical, and cutting-edge leadership principles, as well as practical
applications.

train successful global leaders in Biblical principles, practical
leadership, business and economic development skills that are
transferable cross-organizationally.

- B.A. Degree in Leadership and Administration
- Associate Degree & Minor in Leadership and Administration
- Associate Degree & Minor in Community and International Economic Development
Degree Distinctive: A
Bachelor of Arts degree in Leadership and Administration includes a
major in Biblical Studies (36 credit hours in Leadership Studies) and
(30 credit hours in Biblical Studies). Additional course are required,
totaling 129 credits.
Career Options: Our
graduates are employed as leaders in national and international
organizations, nonprofit and for profit organizations, public sector,
entrepreneurial enterprises, and ministry.
Institute for Community & International Economic Development
Features of the Institute include:
- Technical Assistance – offering start-up consultations for small businesses, ministries and other non-profit organizations.
- Annual Symposium - presenting field experts in urban and global economic development and public policy issues.

What are the backgrounds of the faculty? Our diverse and growing core faculty is comprised of accomplished practitioners and academicians who are uniquely trained. They take seriously their commitment to train leaders.
What are your admissions requirements? Applicants are required to complete a Bible, English, and Math assessment. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED.
What are the career opportunities with this degree? Leadership – Graduates are equipped for leadership careers in the fields of major nonprofit organizations, churches, public sector and the marketplace. Community Development – Graduates are equipped for careers in the fields of urban and international development, community organizing, nonprofit and public sector and entrepreneurship.
Can I complete this Degree online? Yes. You can earn an Associate Degree online in both Leadership and Community Development.
Can I complete this degree while working a full time job? Yes. Classes are offered in a convenient time format, in the class room and online; this makes it convenient for you to study at hours that fit your schedule.
What support is provided for students who need a little extra support? Beulah Heights has a Student Success Center that provides tutoring in various subjects, writing papers and study habits.
