The Department of Bible and Theology is a major area of study at Beulah Heights University that prepares men and women for the church related ministries of biblical teaching and pastoral care in diverse geographic and international settings
Mission
To plan, promote, and evaluate all courses in the department of Bible and Theology, including, Christian Education, and Intercultural Studies, using methods that result in the best learning for students.

The Department of Bible and Theology offers Christian workers quality Bible and theological training for working in the environmental realities of today’s world—training that is biblically sound and academically excellent.
From the Department Chair
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest in the Department of Bible and Theology. Those receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Education have an opportunity to pursue ministry in local church settings as pastor, associate, youth, or administrative pastor, director of Christian education, or in para-church settings as missions (local or foreign), counseling, guidance counselor, or educator. Our degree program also enhances your marketability in a variety of marketplace positions in the business world.

With Your Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies Degree...
The student, after completing the course work should be able to:
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of Bible content in both the Old and New Testament.
- Demonstrate an intensive knowledge of scripture content in all given areas of electives.
- Exhibit an understanding of hermeneutical principles using proper methodology in biblical interpretation.
- Engage in systematic Bible study using various Bible study methods.
- Show evidence of maturing Christian experience as a result of direct Bible study.
- Recognize and evaluate in the light of biblical revelation the major schools of thought in historical and contemporary theology.
- State and defend a worldview that is consistent with biblical revelation and stated in theological terms.
- Defend a conviction that the scripture is God breathed.
- Defend biblical Christianity in the face of attacks from scientism, historical criticism, philosophy, cults and non-Christian religions.
- Articulate the major tenets of Calvinism, Arminianism, Existentialism, and Liberation Theology.
- Define and defend his/her faith from a conservative, evangelical viewpoint.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of Bible doctrine.
